The role involves creating automation workflows, enhancing security detection mechanisms, and ensuring maximum uptime for threat detection in a high-stakes environment used for launching rockets and controlling spacecraft.
Qualification
- 2+ years of professional experience in incident response, security operations, or security engineering; OR a bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM discipline.
- Experience with modern programming languages such as Python, Go, C++, or Rust.
Responsibility
- Build and improve existing security detection mechanisms and automation frameworks for the Security Operations Center.
- Engage with owners of high-risk systems to identify and prioritize detection gaps.
- Investigate anomalous or suspicious behavior identified during the detection engineering process.
- Participate in adversary emulation activities to identify detection gaps.
