Qualification
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- 1+ year of leadership experience in a machine shop setting
- Experience with high-level troubleshooting for machined components
- 5+ years leadership experience in a machine shop setting (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting single digit micron parts (preferred)
- Advanced macro programming experience (preferred)
Responsibility
- Lead and manage a team of technicians, quality specialists, and machinists
- Provide technical guidance and unblock challenging machining issues
- Meet demand requirements to customers and forecast potential capacity deficiencies
- Manage and optimize machine/labor configuration to meet customer demand
- Drive improvements with operations to enhance manufacturability, cycle times, cost, and quality
- Manage schedules, timecards, and direct report performance
- Ensure all processes have accessible and correct documentation
- Set priorities for the team based on strengths and maximizing output
