The Terminal team focuses on extending online payment capabilities to in-person transactions. They are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the software platform for Stripe Terminal's devices, collaborating with engineering and hardware teams to enhance user experience and product scalability.
Qualification
- Experience in product management, particularly in software and hardware integration
- Strong understanding of technology related to device software and hardware
- Ability to create and communicate a multi-year product vision
- Experience in crafting roadmaps and setting measurable objectives
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering and cross-functional teams
Responsibility
- Set a multi-year vision for device software in partnership with the Hardware team
- Break down the vision into measurable milestones for the Terminal OS Platform Team and Firmware team
- Create buy-in and craft roadmaps and OKRs
- Partner with software and hardware engineers to understand device technology
- Focus on device boot up, software updates, security, performance, connectivity, and accessories
