

Support Engineer (APAC)

Supabase is seeking a Support Engineer to provide exceptional developer support for its Postgres development platform. The role involves responding to support cases, triaging issues, and collaborating with product engineering teams. This is a full-time, remote position focused on the APAC time zone, offering various benefits including equity ownership and health coverage.
Qualification
- 3+ years of experience in customer support, specifically providing developer support to technical customers.
- Proficient in SQL, ideally PostgreSQL, with comfort in complex SQL queries.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Skilled in using Linux/Unix operating systems and the command line.
- Experience working with GitHub Issues and Discussions.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, and Svelte, and some experience with Node.js is a plus.
- A degree in Computer Science is a plus.
Responsibility
- Provide initial and timely responses to all support cases for various topics including billing and implementation questions.
- Triage support cases by directing users to previous answers, code examples, and documentation, or escalating to technical teams.
- Monitor feedback channels such as GitHub Issues & Discussions.
- Identify opportunities for internal tooling development to improve support efficiency.
- Reproduce issues, create test cases, and improve test coverage.
