Superpower is seeking an experienced Engineer to architect and deliver technology for its digital health platform. This hybrid role in San Francisco offers the chance to work at the intersection of software and healthcare innovation, focusing on building scalable systems and user-centric experiences.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on full stack web development.
- Deep experience with modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, Typescript, and related tooling.
- Strong knowledge of system design, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (especially AWS/Fargate).
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Passion for healthcare, wellness, or longevity tech is a strong plus.
- Prior experience at an early-stage startup or as a founding engineer is highly desirable.
Responsibility
- Design and implement end-to-end software solutions, from front-end components to backend infrastructure.
- Collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to shape a seamless, user-centric health platform.
- Build and maintain scalable microservices architecture and modern web applications.
- Own technical decisions and contribute to company-wide product strategy and planning.
- Establish and enforce best practices in testing, security, and performance optimization.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering workflows and infrastructure.
