Qualification
- Experience building and scaling consumer-facing applications.
- Startup leadership experience from 0 to 1 and 1 to 100 in a high-growth environment.
- Proven engineering leadership beyond the founding team.
- Strong technical background with coding and architecture decision-making.
- Ability to move at an extreme pace and manage velocity effectively.
- Based in San Francisco and thrives in a fast-moving, in-person culture.
Responsibility
- Translate the product roadmap into engineering execution.
- Drive velocity by parallelizing work and unblocking constraints.
- Get into the code when it matters.
- Hire, mentor and grow top engineers into leaders.
- Partner with product and design to ship with taste and speed.
- Scale engineering culture to operate at extreme velocity.
- Own architecture decisions balancing speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Spec product work with CTO and product leads to scope and prioritize.
