Part-time Telehealth Nurse Practitioner role joining a fast-growing longevity and functional medicine startup. Remote, contractor-based position (10–15 hours/week) requiring CA license with multi-state licensure preferred. Provide evidence-based, root-cause, longevity-focused care; prescribe hormones/peptides and other optimization therapies; review labs, ensure safety/compliance, and document encounters; collaborate with clinical team to deliver personalized, preventative care.
Qualification
- Active NP license in California (required).
- Additional multi-state licensure (e.g., FL, NY, TX) highly preferred.
- Experience in functional medicine, longevity medicine, integrative care, endocrinology, or metabolic health.
- Comfort prescribing optimization-focused therapies, including non-FDA approved medications or off-label use.
- Strong grounding in safety, compliance, and state-specific NP practice requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and patient-centered approach.
- Telehealth experience and comfort working in a fast-moving, tech-enabled startup.
- Part-time availability 10–15 hours per week; fully remote work.
Responsibility
- Prescribe and manage targeted longevity-focused therapies, including hormones and peptides.
- Apply a root-cause, systems-based approach to optimize long-term health outcomes.
- Review diagnostics and lab results to guide therapy selection.
- Document patient encounters accurately and compliantly.
- Provide telehealth patient care and support as part of a fast-moving tech-enabled startup.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate care and ensure safety and efficacy.
- Educate patients about treatment plans, risks, and expected outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety, compliance, and state NP practice requirements.
