Program Manager role partnering with Engineering to deliver software products and solutions by combining Scrum Master duties with comprehensive program and project management, focusing on Agile practices, release planning, and stakeholder alignment.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree (preferably BSCS, BSEE or similar) or equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience as Scrum Master for software development teams practicing Agile/Scrum
- 3+ years of experience in a Project Management role with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with release planning and cross-functional coordination
- Proficiency with project management tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Strong risk management, dependency identification, and mitigation capabilities
- Ability to analyze metrics and drive continuous improvement
Responsibility
- Serve as Scrum Master for multiple software development teams, promoting Agile values and continuous improvement
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with Product Manager/Product Owner and Development Lead to ensure backlog items are development-ready and aligned with business priorities
- Track iteration status and resolve impediments or blockers to maintain progress
- Contribute to quarterly planning, project scheduling, and release management
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies and manage stakeholder expectations to achieve alignment
- Oversee project deliverables to ensure alignment with business goals and success criteria
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders
- Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects to ensure on-time, in-scope, and within-budget delivery
- Identify risks and dependencies across projects and implement mitigation strategies
- Communicate status to stakeholders at all levels with regular updates
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Document processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and drive data-driven improvements
- Facilitate data-driven analysis of team metrics to identify trends and opportunities for experimentation
