Thrill Labs is seeking an Engineering Manager for their new Sportsbook team, responsible for guiding engineers, driving technical excellence, and overseeing the delivery of scalable solutions. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and process optimization in an agile environment, aiming to redefine the future of gaming with innovative technology.
Qualification
- Proven experience in building a sports betting platform.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a team management role.
- Hands-on technical skills in Java or front-end technologies.
- Experience leading teams that design and deliver large-scale, distributed systems.
- Solid experience in backend or front-end technologies including Java, Postgres, Kafka, Redis, React, Angular, or Svelte.
- Practical experience with AWS is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating technical concepts.

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing direction and support.

- Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to shape technical solutions.
