Thrill Labs is seeking a Senior/Lead Back End Software Engineer to join their new Sportsbook team. The role involves building a Sportsbook platform from scratch, focusing on software development, architecture, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The company aims to redefine the gaming industry with innovative solutions and a strong emphasis on quality and performance.
Qualification
- Proven experience in building Sports betting applications from scratch
- 7+ years of software development experience, with a strong background in Java/Kotlin and Spring
- Experience leading the design and implementation of large-scale software systems, particularly with a focus on distributed systems
- Experience with AWS
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Good communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Good command of English (at least B2 equivalent)
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software solutions for the Sportsbook platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues
- Lead architectural discussions and make informed technology decisions to improve system performance and reliability
- Conduct reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
