Tilt is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join NIRA's engineering team, focusing on building a consumer credit platform for underserved populations in India. The role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance platform scalability and fraud detection, while working in a dynamic, virtual-first environment.
Qualification
- Strong experience using Java, ideally with .NET as well.
- Demonstrated experience working in AWS-native environments, using tools like DynamoDB, Athena, and Lambda.
- Experience with scaled technical solutions and projects to increase platform scalability.
- Clear communicator with the ability to articulate technical solutions and collaborate globally.
- Ambition and drive to contribute to the company's mission.
Responsibility
- Work closely with the local NIRA Engineering team and partner with the broader APAC Engineering team to scale the platform.
- Expand the platform to support multiple financial products and underlying instruments.
- Strengthen fraud detection and prevention systems.
- Collaborate with product, credit/finance, compliance, support, and analytics teams.
- Own technical solutions from start to finish, demonstrating a product engineer mentality.
