Toast is seeking a Territory Account Executive to join their founding team as they expand their POS platform into new food and beverage verticals. This role involves using a consultative sales approach to build relationships and sign new accounts in convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops. The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial mindset and sales expertise to help grow the Toast brand in their assigned territory.

Qualification

  • An entrepreneurial and feedback-driven mindset
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and team environment
  • Self-motivated, creative, flexible, and willing to navigate ambiguity
  • Lives in or in proximity to the market
  • Willingness to travel 25% or more

Responsibility

  • Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops
  • Generate lists of prospective accounts and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close
  • Conduct demos and develop customized solutions that meet prospect needs
  • Partner with teams across the business to ensure expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
  • Leverage Salesforce (CRM) to manage all sales activities
  • Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market
