Toast is seeking a Territory Account Executive to join their founding team as they expand their POS platform into new food and beverage verticals. This role involves using a consultative sales approach to build relationships and sign new accounts in convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops. The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial mindset and sales expertise to help grow the Toast brand in their assigned territory.

- Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
- Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and team environment
- Self-motivated, creative, flexible, and willing to navigate ambiguity
- Lives in or in proximity to the market
- Willingness to travel 25% or more
Responsibility
- Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops
- Generate lists of prospective accounts and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close
- Conduct demos and develop customized solutions that meet prospect needs
- Partner with teams across the business to ensure expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
- Leverage Salesforce (CRM) to manage all sales activities
- Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market
