The Thermal Application Engineer role involves working directly with customers to validate thermal design test cases using an AI assistant for hardware design. The position requires a strong foundation in thermal engineering and collaboration with both customers and internal teams to enhance user experience and product features.
Qualification
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 3+ years of thermal engineering experience in hardware product development or simulation workflows
- Strong working knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and cooling strategies for electronics or physical systems
- Strong ability to communicate technical results clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with engineering tools (CAD, simulation software, etc.)
Responsibility
- Work directly with customers to run, debug, and validate thermal design test cases using our AI assistant.
- Collaborate with customers’ engineers to interpret results, provide insights, and recommend workflows.
- Document use cases, best practices, and lessons learned for internal and customer-facing knowledge bases.
- Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams to improve features, accuracy, and user experience.
- Support customer onboarding, training, and integration of the AI assistant into existing design processes.
