Position Summary

Virtuous is looking for a Talent Partner (Sourcing & Growth) to help us build a world-class, mission-driven team as we scale.

This is a hands-on role focused on owning and improving the top-of-funnel—from proactive sourcing to candidate engagement—while helping us build a modern, efficient, and increasingly AI-powered recruiting function.

You'll partner closely with our Talent Acquisition leader to execute hiring priorities while also identifying ways to improve how we work. This role is ideal for someone who can deliver consistently today and is excited to build better systems over time.

We are currently only considering applicants located in the Phoenix, AZ area who are open to hybrid work.

Responsibilities own Sourcing & Pipeline Generation

  • Proactively source and engage candidates across key functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, G&A)
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines for current and future roles
  • Use thoughtful, personalized outreach to engage high-quality, passive candidates
  • Develop structured sourcing approaches while testing new and creative strategies

Leverage Ai & Improve How We Work

  • Use AI tools, automation, and recruiting systems (Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter) to scale and improve your work
  • Build and refine simple workflows (e.g., outreach sequences, follow-ups, tagging, tracking)
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve efficiency
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition leader and hiring managers to align on role needs and candidate profiles
  • Contribute insights and experiments to improve sourcing strategies, tools, and workflows

Drive Execution

Pipeline Health & Candidate Experience

  • Move candidates efficiently through early stages of the process while maintaining a high-quality experience
  • Communicate clearly, quickly, and professionally with candidates from first touch onward
  • Stay organized across multiple roles and pipelines, ensuring strong follow-through
  • Own key top-of-funnel metrics (response rates, time-to-first-touch, pipeline health)
  • Ensure a responsive, well-coordinated, and thoughtful candidate experience

You Must Have

  • 2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, or a related talent role
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and engaging passive candidates via LinkedIn and other platforms; comfortable working in a high‑outreach environment
  • Comfortable working in an ATS and recruiting tools (Ashby or similar ATS; LinkedIn Recruiter strongly preferred)
