The position emphasizes collaboration, design system maintenance, and crafting intuitive user interactions.
Qualification
- Proven experience (4+ years) as a design engineer, frontend engineer, or fullstack engineer with strong design sensibilities.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, with fullstack knowledge.
- Ability to craft usable, intuitive, and delightful interactions.
- Comfortable moving from concept to coded prototype quickly.
- Experience building or contributing to design systems and component libraries.
- Participate in code reviews and help level up peers.
- Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.
- Bonus: experience with AI-powered products or complex consumer applications.
Responsibility
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to bring high-fidelity designs to production.
- Build, maintain, and evolve the design system in Figma and production environments using React and TypeScript.
- Prototype and ship interactions, animations, and flows that are fluid and intuitive.
- Ensure consistency and accessibility across web and mobile platforms.
- Help define new interaction patterns for AI-driven travel products.
- Work closely with engineering to balance craft and performance at scale.
