This hybrid role involves designing and managing network architecture to support the company's autonomous fleet operations, ensuring high-performance and reliable network services.
Qualification
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience with network devices such as firewalls, switches, and access points.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
Responsibility
- Create and review Engineering Design Plans (EDPs) for specific sites, ensuring alignment with company design guidelines.
- Validate, implement, and maintain Method of Procedures (MOPs) for internal teams and external partners.
- Deploy and configure essential network devices, including firewalls, switches, access points, and UPS systems.
- Contribute to and collaborate on strategic enhancements for the company’s network architecture.
- Proactively monitor network performance dashboards to triage and resolve issues, ensuring timely resolution of network-related tickets.
- Provide Tier 2 expert support and resolve escalations from the NOC, focusing on diagnosing root causes for complex network events.
