WeTravel is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Product Engineer to join their Itinerary Team, focusing on building tools that empower travel organizers to create beautiful proposals and streamline booking processes. The role involves leading feature development, collaborating with product teams, and enhancing the platform's capabilities to support travel businesses.
Qualification
- Extensive experience in back-end engineering and software development.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to back-end development (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
- Experience with API development and microservices architecture.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with product stakeholders.
Responsibility
- Lead and build features end-to-end, from user interviews and product design to deployment and monitoring in production.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to identify user problems and develop effective solutions.
- Write high-quality, maintainable back-end code to support new features and integrations.
- Develop AI-enabled tools for creating new trips and optimizing sales funnels.
- Create tools and integrations that help organizers publish and promote their content effectively.
