The role focuses on overseeing materials management for their drone delivery services, ensuring inventory accuracy, optimizing material flow, and developing supplier relationships. Responsibility
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global materials management strategy with strategic suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Manage and own the relationships with material suppliers, overseeing procurement, ensuring timely delivery, and negotiating favorable terms.
- Be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels across all locations, implementing inventory control processes, and minimizing waste and E&O.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, and Logistics teams on material specifications, forecasting, and supply chain planning.
- Develop and implement robust material tracking and management systems to ensure visibility and accountability.
- Continuously improve material flow and inventory management processes.
