The role involves operating machinery, ensuring material availability, conducting quality inspections, and maintaining equipment. Qualification
- Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls.
- Ability to follow instructions and read, interpret, and follow product plans.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily.
- Must pass drug/alcohol testing and background check; subject to random drug testing.
Responsibility
- Operates a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and components from sheet metal or metal plates.
- Prepares, sets up, and adjusts the press brake according to product plans and production schedules.
- Ensures sufficient raw materials are available and measures and aligns materials for use.
- Inspects finished products for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Performs routine maintenance on the press brake and maintains a clean work area.
- Carries out other related duties as assigned.
