Qualification
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate press brake controls.
- Ability to follow instructions and read product plans.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
- Must pass drug/alcohol testing and background check.
- Detail-oriented with a good attitude and willingness to learn.
- Team player willing to take on additional roles as needed.
Responsibility
- Operate a press brake to manufacture tools and components from sheet metal or metal plates.
- Prepare, set up, and adjust the press brake according to product plans and production schedules.
- Ensure sufficient raw materials are available and measure/align materials for use.
- Inspect finished products for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on the press brake and maintain a clean work area.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
