Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in category management or supply chain strategy, particularly in storage hardware.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful supplier management.
- Ability to analyze market trends and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Experience collaborating with engineering and operations teams to align procurement strategies with technical roadmaps.
Responsibility
- Develop multi-year sourcing strategies for storage hardware including all-flash/hybrid arrays, compute and storage servers, and key components.
- Lead high-value negotiations with storage OEMs and ODMs to secure favorable pricing and long-term supply agreements.
- Design and implement a robust supply chain model for storage hardware, including demand forecasting and global logistics.
- Provide market intelligence on storage technologies and trends to inform the technical roadmap.
- Manage relationships with critical storage suppliers and lead executive quarterly business reviews.
