Perplexity is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to enhance advanced search technologies by analyzing user behavior and A/B experiment data. The role involves developing insights to inform product strategy and improve ranking quality through data pipelines and metrics visualization.
Qualification
- 4+ years of experience as a data analyst or in a related role
- Experience with search-related products and online metrics
- Strong Python skills for writing production-grade code
- Proficiency with SQL
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools
- Deep knowledge of statistics
Responsibility
- Develop data-driven insights from user behavior to inform product roadmap
- Formulate hypotheses and validate them by designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests
- Determine appropriate metrics and visualizations for tracking, and implement them in dashboards
- Design new pipelines to improve ranking quality using human and LLM feedback
- Analyze A/B experiment data more efficiently
