ALSO is an electric mobility company focused on creating innovative small electric vehicles. They are seeking a Vehicle Modeling and Data Analyst Engineer to develop and lead the reliability of electric mobility vehicles through modeling and data analysis, bridging theoretical modeling with real-world performance.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in physical systems modeling using tools like Simulink, Modelica, or MATLAB.
- Strong experience with Matlab and Simulink.
- Proficiency in Python or other data analysis tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Jupyter).
- Experience in analyzing telemetry and fleet data for engineering design decisions.
Responsibility
- Develop and maintain high fidelity models of vehicle subsystems for electric vehicles (e.g., drivetrains, battery systems, inverters).
- Simulate and analyze powertrain behavior under various operating conditions and control strategies.
- Create models for efficiency, range estimation, thermal performance, cost analysis, and drive cycle generation.
- Convert motor electromagnetic models for full system model integration.
- Develop battery cell and pack models for powertrain system level modeling and BMS algorithm development.
- Process and analyze data from prototypes and field-deployed vehicles.
- Correlate model predictions with real-world data to validate simulations.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to enhance model fidelity and product performance.
