Sierra is hiring a Software Engineer, Agent to design and deliver production-grade AI agents that drive revenue and scale across industries. Based in San Francisco with growing offices in Atlanta, New York, London, and Singapore, you'll own the Agent Development Lifecycle (ADLC) from pilot to deployment, partner with enterprise clients and startups, and help shape Sierra's AI agent platform.
Qualification
- Proven track record designing and delivering production-grade AI agents or similar AI-enabled software.
- Experience owning end-to-end software development lifecycles, from pilot to deployment and iteration.
- Ability to work with large enterprises and fast-moving startups to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills across research, product, and platform teams.
- Experience building scalable, reliable systems in production; comfort with experimentation and iteration.
- Ability to prototype tools and features and surface unmet needs from customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; willingness to share knowledge and mentor others.
Responsibility
- Design and deliver production-grade AI agents that are scalable, reliable, and intuitive.
- Own the Agent Development Lifecycle from pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
- Tune, monitor, and evolve AI agents in production environments across industries such as finance, healthcare, and commerce.
- Define ADLC best practices and contribute to platform tooling and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with customers and enterprise leaders to understand business challenges and implement AI agents at scale.
- Prototype new tools and features based on customer feedback and research, influencing the future of Sierra’s platform.
- Work with research, product, and platform teams to shape the direction of AI agent development.
