The role of Software Engineer in the Data Platform & Products team involves building scalable data systems and analytics products that improve AI agent performance and business outcomes.
Qualification
- Experience designing and operating large-scale data systems processing terabytes or petabytes of data.
- Proficiency in technologies such as Spark, Flink, Clickhouse, and Trino/Presto.
- Strong backend and distributed systems knowledge in languages like Go, Scala, or Python.
- Understanding of storage engines, query plans, and data serialization formats.
- Experience with data governance, lineage, and testing in data platforms.
Responsibility
- Architect and build core data platforms to handle data at scale with low latency.
- Develop real-time eventing infrastructure and streaming/batch ETL pipelines.
- Manage an Iceberg-based data lakehouse for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Create interactive OLAP querying systems and orchestration for data processing.
- Build analytics products that provide actionable insights from conversational data.
