Airwallex is seeking a Staff Product Designer to support and shape the evolution of its products. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to define problems, prototype interactions, and launch new products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product design and strong leadership skills to guide teams through complex projects.
Qualification
- 8+ years of experience in product design.
- Excellent UX, visual and interaction skills and craft —a master in your field.
- The ability to define direction and process, and lead others through it.
- Can effortlessly motivate and drive small to medium teams to transform a product.
- Demonstrated ability to help a team navigate ambiguity, set vision, and set strategy for global products.
Responsibility
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Product Strategists, and Writers to define problems & goals, map user flows, prototype interactions, and launch new products and services.
- Indirectly lead the work of a team of talented designers, product managers, and engineers as the defacto creative director of innovative projects.
- Build strong relationships with leaders inside and outside of core product teams; show strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Have a keen understanding of research methods, technological, business and user opportunities and constraints.
- Ensure consistency with, and contribute to, our brand and product architecture.
