This role involves managing and mentoring project teams in the planning and design of transportation structures, ensuring high-quality engineering outputs, and contributing to the growth of the NC Structural group. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of three days in the Cary office.
Qualification
- Proven track record of successfully managing structural-bridge projects
- Experience in mentoring and directing staff in technical skills
- Strong understanding of transportation structures design and analysis
- Ability to assess and implement practical approaches for project analyses
- Excellent communication skills for technical progress reporting
Responsibility
- Mentor and direct the advancement of the technical skills of staff while executing projects
- Manage technical elements of a project, including assessing necessary analyses and practical approaches
- Perform, review, and manage technical analysis and design, ensuring completeness of design details
- Communicate technical progress and issues to Project Manager promptly and continuously
- Adhere to internal procedures for quality control, documentation, and project tracking
- Contribute to other project work as needed
