They are seeking a Transportation Project Engineer to join their team, responsible for planning, engineering design, and construction of transportation infrastructure for public agencies.
Qualification
- Experience in transportation engineering
- Knowledge of planning, engineering design, and construction of transportation infrastructure
- Ability to prepare and review plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience mentoring and supervising technical support personnel
Responsibility
- Developing detailed designs of urban and rural roadways from preliminary to final design
- Collaborating with team members, communities, and stakeholders to define data needs, project requirements, and outputs
- Compiling and coordinating plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items
- Supporting studies and alternative analysis to determine best solutions to meet compliance and client goals
- Working with various disciplines and reviewers to ensure complete, accurate, and high quality deliverables
- Contributing to proposal development
- Managing small projects and project tasks and assisting Project Managers in overall large project delivery
