Anduril Industries is seeking a Firmware Engineer III to develop low-level firmware and software for testing and automation in defense technology. The role involves working with interdisciplinary teams to enhance product quality and efficiency, utilizing advanced technologies such as AI and embedded systems.
Qualification
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong C coding ability for embedded systems.
- Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors.
- Experience developing firmware in bare-metal, RTOS environments, and embedded Linux.
Responsibility
- Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontroller platforms interfacing to robots or control algorithms for OTS data acquisition tools.
- Build capabilities for device-side validation of system-level features using SSH and gRPC.
- Quickly debug and troubleshoot issues across electrical, firmware, and software boundaries, and automate test processes for production.
- Engage in DFT/DFM reviews with electrical engineering and product firmware teams.
- Utilize expertise in firmware/software development to anticipate failure modes and build code for verification.
