Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to develop low-level firmware and software for testing and automation in defense technology. The role involves working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality product delivery, focusing on embedded systems and data acquisition challenges.
Qualification
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience in firmware development.
- Strong C coding ability for embedded systems.
- Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors.
- Experience developing firmware in bare-metal, RTOS environments, and embedded Linux.
Responsibility
- Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontroller platforms interfacing with robots and control algorithms for data acquisition tools.
- Build capabilities for device-side validation of system-level features using SSH and gRPC.
- Quickly debug and troubleshoot issues across electrical, firmware, and software boundaries, transferring processes to automated test and failure analysis SOPs.
- Engage in design for test (DFT) and design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews with electrical engineering and firmware teams.
- Utilize expertise in firmware/software development to anticipate failure modes and build verification code.
