Qualification
- Experience in supply chain management or sourcing engineering
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and BOM development
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams
- Experience with cost management and procurement strategies
- Familiarity with value-stream mapping and risk assessment techniques
Responsibility
- Conduct supplier selection for specific products using the approved supplier list
- Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development
- Drive the development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM
- Accountable for all NPI component procurement
- Manage CAPEX throughout NPI
- Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time
- Complete BOM risk assessments and ensure component qualifications
- Reduce complexity through commonality optimization
