The Senior Sourcing Specialist will support supply chain activities, including supplier selection, cost management, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize product development and sourcing strategies.
Qualification
- Experience in supply chain management or sourcing
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in pricing and terms negotiations
- Ability to conduct technical discussions and present sourcing recommendations
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and BOM development
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration with engineering and quality teams
Responsibility
- Conduct supplier selection for specific products using the approved supplier list
- Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development
- Drive the development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM
- Manage CAPEX throughout New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility
- Complete BOM risk assessments and ensure component qualifications ahead of production
- Reduce complexity through commonality optimization and supplier rationalization
