The Marketing Events Lead at Anthropic will be responsible for developing and executing event strategies across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) to enhance the company's presence and support its mission of safe AI development. This role involves managing a variety of strategic events, collaborating with sales and marketing teams, and measuring the impact of these events on business growth.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive event and field marketing strategies across EMEA, focusing on European markets
- Plan, manage, and execute a portfolio of strategic events including Anthropic-hosted tentpoles, executive roundtables, customer events, partner programs, and industry conferences
- Evaluate and select premium third-party events that align with business goals and create high-impact activation strategies
- Build scalable frameworks and processes for event programs from scratch in the region
- Manage regional resources, building relationships with key partners, vendors, and industry organizations across EMEA
- Measure and report on program effectiveness including executive engagement, relationship advancement, pipeline impact, and ROI
- Collaborate with global Marketing Events team to ensure regional programs align with company-wide strategy while meeting local market needs
- Coordinate with Product Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and positioning in all regional programs
- Drive continuous improvement through post-event analysis and stakeholder feedback
