The AoPS Academy is seeking a passionate Math Instructor to teach advanced math to students in a collaborative classroom setting. This part-time position requires engaging with students, managing classrooms, and providing feedback on assignments. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in math and experience in teaching or tutoring, with a commitment to inspiring a love for learning.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred
- Strong content knowledge in math
- Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred
- Experience teaching or tutoring students
Responsibility
- Teach Engaging Curriculum using company-created materials for advanced students
- Engage Students through active involvement and student-led learning
- Manage classrooms of up to 16 students effectively
- Grade and Provide Feedback on tests and assignments
- Build Relationships with students and families to impact their educational journey
- Inspire Learning and encourage critical thinking in math
