The AoPS Academy is seeking a passionate Math Instructor to teach advanced math to students in a collaborative classroom environment. This part-time position involves engaging students, managing classrooms, providing feedback, and inspiring a love for learning. The role requires a commitment to teaching during after-school hours and weekends, with classes held in-person at the Bellevue campus.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred
- Strong content knowledge in math
- Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred
- Experience teaching or tutoring students
Responsibility
- Teach Engaging Curriculum using company-created materials for advanced students
- Engage Students through active involvement and student-led learning
- Manage classrooms of up to 16 students effectively
- Grade and Provide Feedback on tests and assignments
- Build Relationships with students and families to impact their educational journey
- Inspire Learning by encouraging critical thinking and a love for math
