Benchling is a biotechnology company focused on enhancing R&D through innovative software solutions. They are seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive new business and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, primarily working remotely in Denmark.
Qualification
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Strong understanding of solution selling and sales forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with CxO level stakeholders.
- Ability to generate leads and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
- Experience in account management and building long-term client relationships.
Responsibility
- Create 80% of pipeline by identifying new business opportunities and engaging with multiple personas within the prospect/customer base.
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts (+/- 10 of goal) to ensure predictable revenue outcomes.
- Effectively communicate the value of Benchling's platform, tailoring presentations and proposals to meet specific prospect needs.
- Lead negotiations with potential clients, addressing objections and securing new business agreements.
- Work across multiple personas within an account to align Benchling’s solutions with their business objectives.
- Partner with internal teams (marketing, product, customer success) to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
