The Senior Product Manager for Analytics at BlackSky will lead the development and execution of the analytics product strategy, focusing on sustainable business growth through product specification, roadmap management, and KPI tracking. The role involves collaboration with a team of Product Managers and direct support to Sales and Business Development, with a preference for candidates near Herndon, VA or Seattle, WA, but open to remote candidates in certain states.
Qualification
- Proven experience in product management, particularly in analytics or related fields.
- Strong understanding of product strategy and roadmap development.
- Experience with KPI formulation and performance tracking.
- Ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in publishing and presenting technical content to industry audiences.
Responsibility
- Drive the development and release of analytics products that integrate with imagery tasking capabilities.
- Develop and maintain the analytics product specification and development roadmap.
- Define automated object detection requirements, including performance targets and delivery methods.
- Establish business and technical KPIs and regularly report performance against them.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders on product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks.
- Build relationships with industry partners to support TC-PED needs of subscribers.
- Publish white papers and present at industry events to promote analytics products.
- Support product sales opportunities through remote engagements.
