Qualification
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- State veterinary license in good standing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform basic surgical procedures and manage medical cases.
- Commitment to continuing education and staying current with veterinary practices.
Responsibility

- Develop rapport with clients and resolve their needs and wishes.
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures.
- Explain physical examination findings and communicate a diagnosis; generate and present treatment plans.
- Educate clients on preventative health care, including vaccines and nutritional products.
- Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and ensure logs are up to date.
- Stay current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine; attend continuing education meetings.
- Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure high-quality care.
