This role involves overseeing the HR department, focusing on employee engagement, performance management, and talent development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR within a fulfillment or distribution environment and will be responsible for various HR functions including employee relations, training, compensation, and benefits administration.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years in an HR partnership role, ideally in a fulfillment or distribution center.
- 2+ years' experience leading an HR team.
- Proven track record of strategic partnerships improving the HR experience.
- Excellent written, verbal, and public presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative.
- Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization.
- Able to work efficiently with a variety of personnel.
Responsibility
- Lead team responsible for performance management, employee engagement, and talent development.
- Work with line managers and employees to address employee relations issues.
- Provide management mentorship to build leadership capabilities.
- Assist with training and own orientation and onboarding processes.
- Review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions for performance and retention.
- Facilitate compensation programs and coordinate workers compensation program.
- Handle benefits administration and develop/update job descriptions, rules, procedures, and policies.
- Participate in facility safety meetings and accident investigations.
