Qualification
- BA/BS degree in Accounting
- CPA or path to CPA preferred
- 3+ years of related experience
- Strong technical accounting and financial analytical skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience with GL software, SQL, or Tableau is a plus
- Experience establishing new accounting processes preferred
Responsibility
- Review and analyze financial statements and key metrics for assigned areas
- Prepare general ledger entries and balance sheet reconciliation in compliance with policies and procedures
- Support the design and implementation of new accounting processes and routines
- Provide guidance to cross-functional stakeholders
- Mentor and manage tasks for junior team members
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation
- Help design and implement internal controls over accounting processes
