Northwood is seeking a Head of Finance to lead its finance function and shape financial strategy in the satellite communications industry. The role involves developing financial strategies, overseeing financial reporting, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance, all while supporting the company's growth objectives.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Expertise in financial accounting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide actionable insights to leadership.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement financial strategy to support growth objectives, including fundraising and long-term planning.
- Lead preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and drive budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and support investor relations with financial models and presentations.
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure adequate funding for operations and growth initiatives.
- Establish and enhance financial systems and processes for scalability and efficiency as the company grows.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
