Databricks is seeking a Finance Manager to join their FP&A team, focusing on strategic financial analysis and partnership with the GTM team to drive impact. The role involves problem-solving, data analysis, and communication with senior leadership, aimed at enhancing financial metrics and operational efficiency.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related quantitative field.
- 6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or data analytics roles.
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional relationships, particularly with GTM organizations.
- Expertise in financial modeling and maintaining complex spreadsheets, with proficiency in Google Sheets as a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and making data-driven insights.
- Ability to present financial data effectively using detailed reports, charts, and narratives.
- Familiarity with GAAP and non-GAAP financial metrics.
Responsibility
- Analytically solve problems and lead the end-to-end recommendation process for executive decision-making.
- Nurture partnerships with Sales, Finance, Commercialization, Data Science, Accounting, IT, and Business Operations teams.
- Develop creative solutions for data challenges and communicate findings through narratives and presentations.
- Build and maintain financial and operational models for real-time forecasting of key financial metrics.
- Propose and implement solutions to drive key financial metrics in collaboration with the GTM team.
- Guide process improvement, standardization, simplification, and enhance reporting controls.
