Figma is seeking technically-minded product designers to join their team, focusing on making design accessible and enhancing collaboration. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to shape product direction, create prototypes, and improve user experience. This full-time position can be remote or based in one of Figma's US hubs.
Qualification
- 3+ years of experience designing UX and UI for a software product of similar scale and complexity
- Great attention to detail and a strong eye for visual craft, such as composition, typography, and layout
- Fluency in interaction design and prototyping
- Ability to turn ambiguity into clarity and push the product forward
- Strong collaboration skills with engineers, PMs, and researchers
Responsibility
- Contribute to overall strategy and decision-making about product direction
- Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities
- Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, design, and research peers
- Create and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
- Design and ship high-quality features and product improvements in Figma’s core product surfaces
- Participate in design critiques, mentor peers, and share best practices across teams
