Zipline is seeking a Construction & Development Manager for the Houston Region to oversee real estate development and establish ground infrastructure. The role involves managing the entire development process, including site identification, permitting, and construction, while collaborating with various teams to secure necessary approvals and maintain project timelines.
Qualification
- Proven experience in construction management and real estate development.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing external vendors.
- Ability to build relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
- Experience in managing construction projects from inception to completion.
- Knowledge of permitting processes and local regulations.
Responsibility
- Develop and lead pre-construction strategies to streamline entitlements and permits for ground infrastructure.
- Manage construction projects, site infrastructure installments, construction contractors, and additional real estate development projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with City Managers, staff, and City Council members to facilitate approvals and permit completion.
- Lead negotiations and manage external vendors to ensure project timelines are met.
- Collaborate with Deployment, Construction, Real Estate, and Government Affairs teams to align with strategic goals.
