Qualification
- Experience in maintenance and testing of mechanical systems
- Familiarity with avionics and powertrain systems
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications and diagrams
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Hands-on experience with building and assembling components
- Problem-solving skills for root cause analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with data acquisition and instrumentation
Responsibility
- Build up vehicle components and test jigs using instructions
- Replace vehicle parts following instructions and update documentation
- Verify that test specifications are correct and executable
- Create test setups to match engineering specifications
- Write high quality and detailed reports on test results
- Collaborate with engineers on design iterations
- Support field operations to maintain flight vehicles
- Run tests from quick semi-automated vehicle check-outs to long reliability campaigns
