Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a leadership position
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Experience with financial reporting and compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Responsibility
- Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions, maintaining the integrity of daily accounting operations
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of two accountants to achieve departmental goals and ensure high-quality performance
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and tax reporting requirements, including VAT, CPT, and preparation of financial statements
- Manage and execute month-end closing procedures, performing detailed accounting checks and reconciliations
- Drive process improvements by streamlining workflows and implementing automation to enhance operational efficiency
- Support internal, local, and tax audits by providing accurate documentation and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
- Manage business travel expenses, employee reimbursements, and general operational expenditures
- Provide expert guidance and support to business units on tax-related matters
