We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant for our Continental European (CE) business based in our Luxembourg office. As a Senior Accountant within Goodman you will be responsible for the accounting and tax functions for our Luxembourg holding and financing companies.
More concretely, this means you will get the opportunity:
- Prepare periodic closings (IFRS) for all companies within your portfolio.
- Review transactional entries (invoices,…) performed by the shared services team.
- Reconcile monthly and/or quarterly balance sheet and P&L accounts.
- Ensure timely preparation of any direct and indirect tax returns.
- Prepare Luxembourg GAAP balances and financial statements.
- Ensure tax compliance with all applicable tax regulations including (but not limited to) direct & indirect taxation, tax returns and filings, transfer pricing calculations.., etc.
- Identify emerging tax evolutions and collaborate with relevant team members or external consultants to address and mitigate any impact.
- Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with transfer pricing policies.
- Prepare support files to present the financials of the companies in scope to the Board of Directors or to other stakeholders.
- Liaise with auditors and external consultants.
Do you recognize yourself?
- Accountant, with (5+) years of relevant experience with a good knowledge of Luxembourgish financial, tax and accounting legislation.
- Financial, tax and analytical mindset.
- Solution driven, ‘hands-on’ with a ‘can do’ approach.
- You are fluent in English.
- You have the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- You have an eye for detail and are deadline driven.
