The Account Executive at GuidePoint Security will engage in proactive networking and sales within the cybersecurity sector, focusing on building relationships with clients, including C-level executives. This remote position requires regional travel and emphasizes a consultative sales approach to meet client needs and achieve sales goals.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years outside sales experience in the IT space required.
- Current enterprise security space experience preferred.
- Strong, established relationships with key accounts in the territory required.
- Ability to articulate technology solutions and value propositions to clients.
- Experience with consultative sales approaches and account management.
Responsibility
- Consistently meet sales and profitability goals.
- Position, configure and quote product and service solutions to clients.
- Participate in industry organizations such as ISSA, ISACA, OWASP.
- Manage leads and opportunities through Salesforce and other CRM tools.
- Accurately report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels.
- Participate in creation and closure of services proposals.
- Work with vendors to understand and position their technologies.
- Participate in field marketing to generate interest and drive attendance to events.
- Represent GuidePoint Consultants to clients and articulate areas of expertise.
- Maintain open communication with clients and vendors throughout the sales process.
- Develop and present sales presentations to large groups and executive clients.
