This remote position focuses on growing existing accounts and acquiring new mid-market accounts in the Maryland/DMV area, requiring proactive networking and a consultative sales approach. The role involves meeting sales goals, managing leads through Salesforce, and participating in industry organizations.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years outside sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity.
- Current enterprise security space experience preferred.
- Strong relationships with key accounts in the territory required.
- Experience with Salesforce.com is required.
- Ability to professionally present to large groups and executive clients.
Responsibility
- Consistently meet sales and profitability goals.
- Position, configure and quote product and service solutions to clients.
- Manage leads and opportunities through Salesforce and other CRM tools.
- Accurately report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels.
- Participate in creation and closure of services proposals.
- Work with vendors to understand and position their technologies.
- Participate in field marketing to generate interest among clients.
- Set expectations and maintain communication with clients and vendors.
