The role centers on outbound prospecting to expand the customer base, handling inbound leads, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive early-stage opportunities and handoffs to sales.

Qualification

  • Proven experience in sales development, inside sales, or lead generation (SDR role)
  • Experience with outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social channels
  • Familiarity with prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Seamless.ai
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional, first-impression mindset
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple channels and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Operations)
  • Experience with scheduling, discovery calls, and qualification conversations
  • Based in Chicago or willing to work on-site in Chicago (on-site requirement)

Responsibility

  • Identify and secure new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, compelling emails, social media engagement, and multiple channels.
  • Promptly follow up on inbound leads to maximize opportunities and demonstrate attentiveness.
  • Create a strong first impression through professional communication and scripts to attract and engage prospects.
  • Utilize prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Seamless.ai) to identify opportunities and coordinate with assigned reps for qualification calls and discovery meetings.
  • Manage scheduling and calendaring of sales calls, emails, and other engagements.
  • Keep leads up-to-date and actively track activity, following up with agility.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Operations, and other teams to advance opportunities.
  • Contribute to team-wide best practices and assist with onboarding and training to scale sales efforts.
